6-week virtual Somatic Skills Group for Black Women
Thursdays, 7-8:30pm EST | Sept 25 - Nov 6
Come join us for an intergenerational space for Black women and femmes to come together to recharge, reconnect and root into what truly sustains us. Each week, we’ll blend conversation with body-based practices so you’re not just learning tools, you’re practicing them. Through gentle movement, grounding rituals, and shared wisdom, you’ll leave feeling more spacious, centered and supported--in your body and in your life. We look forward to having you!
The cost for participants is $350. Payment is due by Sept 2, 2025. Contact Blessing or Sheila about alternate payment options if needed.
We look forward to spending time with you.

About Us
BLESSING AND SHEILA
We are Black somatic practitioners offering practical body-based skills that will support participants in managing stress and finding hope within these chaotic times.
Blessing Uchendu, MSW, LCSW, SEP (she/her) is a Nigerian-American healer, trauma therapist, and speaker with 15+ years of experience. She is the founder of Freshwater Counseling & Consulting, a NYC-based therapy and consulting practice centering the healing of BIPOC people through body-centered therapy and consulting. As an EMDR-certified therapist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Blessing’s specialty is in helping people “clear out the noise” in order to connect with and be guided by their most authentic selves. Her philosophy is that healthy relationships are cultivated out of a healthy relationship with ourselves.
