6-week Somatic Skills Group for Black Women

Thursdays, 7-8:30pm EST | June 5 - July 17

Does it feel like the world as you have known it is at risk?  Does your attention feel constantly hijacked? For many of us, our bodies, minds and spirits are feeling under siege.

We are creating an intergenerational space for Black women to gain practical tools for resilience building. A space where we can commune together to support our bodies that have been overextended for too long.

As Black women we have consistently been on the forefront of progress and change, overfunctioning while this country continues to underfunction and benefit from our labor. Many Black women feel betrayed and exhausted and have vowed to pull their energy back. It’s time for a change. This is a moment to move towards radical self and community care.

Healing and embodiment is our next form of resistance. As we bring our attention and energy back to our bodies, we can connect to greater spaciousness and clarity within.

The group will be capped at 15 participants. Zoom link will be provided upon enrollment. This is a group for skill building and not a therapy group.

The cost for participants is $350. Payment is due by May 1, 2025. Contact Blessing or Sheila about alternate payment options if needed.

We look forward to spending time with you.
